Nothing completes a project like a fresh coat of paint. Enhance Floors & More can assist you with your painting project, whether large or small. Our services include stripping wallpaper and making necessary sheetrock repairs prior to painting.

TIP: Do NOT pick your paint color first. There are thousands of paint colors to choose from. Start where you have the fewest choices and build from there. This may be the flooring, but sometimes it is something you cannot or do not want to change, like a piece of furniture, artwork, a stone fireplace, etc.

Which should you do first, paint or the new floor?

If you are installing new hard surface flooring, you should do your floors first. A reputable painter will not have any problems protecting your brand new floors. By doing the painting last, you don’t have to worry about touch-up painting, painting your primed shoemold, etc. However, for new carpet, most clients do the carpet installation after the painting. Please be aware that no matter how careful we are, there will be some touch-up painting required after installation.
